Agreement to Terms

Welcome! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. These Services are provided by Bytedz, an independent development studio not affiliated with Google or Android.

Services and Accounts

Some of my Services, particularly downloadable software, may allow or require you to create an account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for keeping your password confidential. If you believe your account”s security has been compromised, please contact me immediately.

Purchases and Refunds

All one-time purchases are processed through the Google Play Store. We offer a 48-hour “no-questions-asked” refund window. Beyond 48 hours, all sales are considered final. Refunds after this period are granted solely at our discretion, typically only in cases of proven technical defects that prevent the app from functioning. Note: Once a refund is processed, your license to use Pro/Premium features will be revoked.

Intellectual Property & Open Source

Our branding, logos, graphics, and the unique “Bytedz” identity are proprietary and protected by international copyright laws. However, the source code for specific software projects may be released under open-source licenses (MIT/Apache 2.0). These Terms do not override your rights under such licenses, but the use of the “Bytedz” brand assets remains restricted unless otherwise stated.

Responsible Use & Anti-Circumvention

By using our Services, you agree to act responsibly. Prohibited actions include:

  • Modifying, hacking, or attempting to circumvent any license-checking or advertisements.
  • Using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their related systems.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Services.
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation in a deceptive manner.

Disclaimer of Warranty (The “AS IS” Clause)

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without any warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, or that the results obtained from using the services (such as calculations or file operations) will be 100% accurate or reliable. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability & Data Loss

Bytedz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or loss of data resulting from the use or inability to use the Services. This includes data loss from operations like batch renaming, database management, or system monitoring. We highly recommend maintaining regular backups of your important files.

Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (like Google AdMob or Google Play). We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Algeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
